Eligibility:

In Maharashtra, the following categories are eligible for PM-JAY:

Rural families identified based on Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) 2011 data

Urban families with yellow/orange/pink ration cards

Implementation:

The scheme is being implemented by the Maharashtra Arogya Mandal under the National Health Mission, Maharashtra.

Empaneled Hospitals:

As of March 2023, a total of 1,135 hospitals (558 public and 577 private) have been empaneled under PM-JAY in Maharashtra. Some major empaneled hospitals include:

JJ Hospital (Mumbai)

Grant Medical College & Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals (Mumbai)

PM-JAY Beneficiary Numbers:

As per the National Health Authority dashboard, around 81.1 lakh PM-JAY beneficiary families have been identified in Maharashtra as of March 2023.

The state has rolled out PM-JAY e-cards and set up a robust network of empaneled public and private hospitals to provide cashless treatment up to Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year under the scheme.
