Eligibility:

In Kerala, the following categories are eligible for PM-JAY:

Rural families identified based on Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) 2011 data

Urban families with priority ration cards (pink/blue)

Implementation:

The scheme is being implemented by the Comprehensive Health Insurance Agency of Kerala (CHIAK) under the National Health Mission, Kerala.

Empaneled Hospitals:

As of March 2023, a total of 297 hospitals (134 public and 163 private) have been empaneled under PM-JAY in Kerala. Some major empaneled hospitals include:

PM-JAY Beneficiary Numbers:

As per the National Health Authority dashboard, around 9.1 lakh PM-JAY beneficiary families have been identified in Kerala as of March 2023.

The state has issued PM-JAY e-cards to eligible beneficiaries allowing them to access cashless treatment up to Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year at the network of empaneled hospitals.
