Here are the key details about the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) scheme in Karnataka:

Eligibility:

In Karnataka, the following categories are eligible for PM-JAY:

- Rural families identified based on Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) 2011 data

- Urban families with Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) or Priority Household (PHH) ration cards

Implementation:

The scheme is being implemented by the Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust under the National Health Mission, Karnataka.

Empaneled Hospitals:

As of March 2023, a total of 887 hospitals (294 public and 593 private) have been empaneled under PM-JAY in Karnataka. Some major empaneled hospitals include:

Public: 

- Victoria Hospital (Bengaluru)

- Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences (Bengaluru)  

- Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology (Bengaluru)

- District Government Hospitals

Private:

- Narayana Health City (Bengaluru)

- Manipal Hospitals (Bengaluru, Mysuru)

- Apollo Hospitals (Bengaluru)

- Aster CMI Hospitals (Bengaluru, Hubli)

PM-JAY Beneficiary Numbers:

As per the National Health Authority dashboard, around 65.7 lakh PM-JAY beneficiary families have been identified in Karnataka as of March 2023.

The state has issued PM-JAY e-cards and set up a robust network of empaneled public and private hospitals across districts to provide cashless treatment up to Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year.
