Eligibility:

In Odisha, the following categories are eligible for PM-JAY:

Rural families identified based on Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) 2011 data

Urban families with Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) or Priority Household (PHH) ration cards

Implementation:

The scheme is being implemented by the State Health Assurance Society under the National Health Mission, Odisha.

As per the National Health Authority dashboard, around 59.1 lakh PM-JAY beneficiary families have been identified in Odisha as of March 2023.

The state has issued PM-JAY e-cards to eligible beneficiaries, allowing them to access cashless treatment up to Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year at the network of empaneled hospitals.
